I am grateful, dear Father God, for provision and protection in my seventh decade of life. I praise you for your attributes, your character, your mercy and grace to us, your goodness and kindness. My family is broken by divorce, addiction, and lack of forgiveness. God remains faithful to me as I pray for my two adult sons, prodigals for whom I pray, that they will "come to their senses" and come back to Jesus. I pray for the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, now marked by destruction sparked by the death of George Floyd in the city of my birth. Dear God, soften the hearts of people everywhere worldwide to long for reason and to work toward reconciliation. I am longing for the day when Jesus comes back to take us home. Until then, I pray with others that you would draw people to salvation by of the blood of Jesus. "Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
