Going into the month of June, after more than three years of hell and harassment, my abusive ex was asking for sole custody of our two little sons and courts were believing and favoring his attorney and his money. I signed a settlement that involves me forgoing most all support money in order to keep sons with me as primary parent and caregiver (another form of abuse and duress but felt I had no choice, as ex was lying to court and the judge was believing him and treating him, not my sons and I, as the victim, and could've given him more custody than the settlement I signed). Good news is I will remain as primary parent (as long as ex doesn't take me back to court again, so please pray for God's protection with that). However, I NEED CONTINUED PRAYER because there is even more pressure on my shoulders now, financially and physically with the demands of caring for sons full-time (ages 6 and 4 years) while trying to find work, being financially ruined by all of this, and then the effects of my now ex-husband having unsupervised visits with our two little sons (one of which was sexually abused by father, but again the courts were not believing me in regards to my sons' behavior and what son said his father did to him). Prayers that I will find the right job and that God provides in meantime for me and little sons; that their father will no longer abuse our sons or harass (or try to hurt/kill) me (the 1st year post-divorce is most dangerous when there has been abuse); and that God gives me strength and support to continue getting through this very long period of hardship and stress and anguish.
