My husband, Bruce, had an Ischemic Stroke in February 2019. Over the past 13 months he had been progressing well...until Covid-19 and stay at home orders in March. A month later we both began noticing weakness of muscles, incontinence, balance issues (he had been progressing with a 2-wheel and 4-wheel walker, walking in the kitchen balancing his hands on both sides of the kitchen counters trying to walk and working hard to regain balance and being able to walk once again, He began leaning to the left and forward in his wheelchair. Finally, he could no longer transfer from his wheelchair to the bed or sofa, etc. Devastating. He has been in and out of ER/hospital/Skilled Nursing Rehab facility on and off since May 28th. PLEASE lift him up in Mighty and Powerful Prayer. I KNOW our God is a good GOD and HE can heal him completely. We have done all of the necessary work (HARD work) over the past 15+ months...and now this spiral. Doctors feel it may be Parkinson's, but also could be NPH (fluid buildup on the ventricular). We are trying to get him strong enough in short term rehab to possibly to an outpatient spinal tap to test fluid and balance issues. PLEASE pray for us. We are BOTH fighters in this horrific battle for him to return to some type of better normalcy in life and eventually returning back home, as he had been progressing so well before CovidThank you and God Bless you. and this down-spiral so suddenly.
