I am reaching out to all those who are hurting because of the loss of a loved one. I have lost many people in my life grand parents parents but the most tragic loss was of my 18 year old son to drowning. It happened over 30 years ago but how I coped with his loss is an amazing story. You see I am a believer and at the time I was attending a bible study we were studying 1 Thessalonians in Chp 5 vs 16 It says Be joyful always pray continually give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. So I was practicing this in my life when this tragedy struck I turned to God through my grief I cried out to God and I thanked him in this circumstance. Immediately God touched me in a powerful way and I knew God would not only get me through but use it in others lives too. I miss my son terribly but I know he is with God and I know that someday we will be together in heaven with our precious Lord and Savior.
