Please pray the Holy Spirit gives me the grace to stay sober. I feel a strong strong pull for service work and I know I'm cheating them if I can't be at my best. I also know I can't be used nearly so well for God to heal through me. The drugs clog up the passage and I'm not nearly as effective. Please pray God takes away the desire of the drug completely or makes my urge to help more powerful than my urge to use. Let Him remind me of the disappointment and selfishness I feel when I go that way.
