Son was bullied in 8th grade about christian home, kind heart by a student with psych problems who decided to 'transform' accused him of discriminating instead of caring. Stalked him after being told no contact per mom.The person was on probation, had restraining order from another person, stopped contact when mom threatened to also get one against them. Depression followed, sons personality changed, started hating church. We didn't understand what was happening. This year in March, son was hospitalized for self harm, said in family Mtg with counselor that he's part of the pride community, doesn't believe in God after researching religions, and was looking into Satanism. Admitted failed attempts to suicide in 8th grade. He was raised in church, rejects us and our beliefs, has a troubled relationship with girlfriend and still battles major depression and anxiety. We reached out to our church and we're told we've never dealt with that but we'll pray for your family, same with our old church out of state. We are the only Christians in both sides of close family, some think it's funny when something happens to the goodie two shoes. He was raised in church, baptized, his soul is on the line. We have never felt so alone and abandoned by our church at the same time. We can't be the only Christians to ever have this problem.
