My husband lost his job unexpectedly about a month before Christmas. I am due with our first child any day now. I'm really struggling to know how to encourage him and keep being his cheerleader during this time when I, probably selfishly, feel the need to feel secure during this last leg of pregnancy and need him to help support us. At this point I am not able to see how we will be able to pay all of our necessary bills this month, and also have money for groceries and gas for me to get to work. We've already fallen so far behind on medical bills with the baby, and have had to dip into our emergency savings this month for necessities. I'm really trying to trust that God has been and will provide for us, and that we will have all that we need, but my moral is beginning to wane. I'm just plain scared for what is to come, and I don't want to feel that way. I want to rely on God, not my husband, and be able to remain positive.
