Update from Sept. 15: My mom, Maria, continues in the ICU after having a stroke and undergoing surgery. It will be a week tomorrow since her surgery and she still hasn't woken up. The doctor doesn't give a good prognosis but confirms she is not brain dead and her MRI showed no brain damage. We are heartbroken yet hopeful. We are trying hard to stay faithful and we're trying to leave it in God's hands. We pray for her healing and for her to wake up. With God all things are possible. She has always been God's apostle, sharing the Good News with everyone she meets. She has been through so many trials in her life and has always fought the good fight and come out stronger on the other side. Lord we ask you grant us this miracle if it's in Your perfect plan. If it's Your will. And prayers for my dad and siblings do that we stay strong and faithful. In Your name we pray, Lord. Amen.
