Our Father in heaven, we honor you and look up to you as Creator of all. Thank you for all the nations’ leaders and authorities who persevere in difficult governance work amid today’s hardships wrought by conflicts and pandemics. We lift up to you Donald Trump and his wife Melania who both tested positive for CoVid-19 recently. We humbly accept that the US President and the First Lady are as imperfect as any of us on earth. This we ask faithfully in the name of your Son Jesus Christ on whom you have given all authority in heaven and on earth. Yet not our desire but your will be done, for you are Almighty God whose ways and thoughts are higher than our thoughts and your love endures forever. Amen. All God’s people agreeing to help pray say, “Amen.”
