I had my third interview yesterday for an incredible job opportunity. Interview went very well and I am very qualified for the position. However, I showed up 8 minutes late due to an accident blocking traffic on the highway. I did email the recruiter while I was stuck in traffic to advise. I also apologized once I arrived, and sent a follow-up email after, thanking the hiring manager for her time. I am just praying that my tardiness, albeit beyond my control, will not hinder my chances.
