Immature, 17 yr son with Major Depression and Anxiety brought a 3.5 inch pocket knife he got with grandma on vacation last week to school to show a friend. He had no criminal intentions towards anyone.. He is naive and ignorant of the seriousness of this mistake. Instead of suspension and parent taking it home, as school policy states, the principle chose to treat it like an adult crime, direct file a class 6 felony. My son was downstairs huddled under a blanket fearing for his life. Raised in church, prayers together every night, Sunday school and right living, he lost his faith after 8th grade bullying. Now in 11th grade, a bully, reported him knowing his mental state reported this hoping to do him in for good. Please, please pray for my son. All he was supposed to suffer was suspension. He is traumatized. Asking for mercy in this matter for my son.
