My husbands family is really struggling financially. They are on the verge of losing their apartment and everything they own.. my husband broke down today when we found out. In our 14 years of marriage I have never seen him bawl. He is burdened by the fact that he can’t physically help them. Our financial situation is not as bad as theirs but we are struggling with unemployment, rent increase, and the holidays creeping up on us. My prayer request is for my in laws. May our Heavenly Father open the right doors and may He help provide them with their most basic needs.. if those doors include us opening our wallets I pray He shows us this.. I pray for the wisdom to take the right steps and not dig our hole deeper trying to help them. I know our Father never fails us, and I know whatever we give will be done so with a pure heart and all the right intentions. We just need the push to be reassured that we will survive this... the sum needed to clear their debt is $3k. Do we take away from our children and go into debt helping them or do we stand by silently waiting for the walls to crumble. This is really tough for us, and I fully understand the stress my husband is placed in. Lord we need a sign. We need the right doors to open.
