Throughout our marriage my husband has struggled with seeking attention from other women. Sometimes this is not inappropriate and romantic, and sometimes it is. He has kept it secret from me because he "doesn't want to make me mad/upset." I found out on Thanksgiving night that he has been texting and messaging with other women again, lying to me about it, and trying to hide it.
I am so hurt. I have told him that I will have to separate from him if this behavior happens again because it's been going on for years off and on.
We made a written agreement together, and I hope that we both abide by it. We framed it and put it in our bedroom to remind us.
I have a bad habit of becoming bitter and distant, bringing up the past, seeing the worst in him and almost despising him sometimes. He has trouble with anxiety and lashing out at me in anger, as well as this issue with other women.
Please pray for our marriage and that we will learn to seek Jesus together and draw closer to one another as we draw closer to God.
