My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I just lost my job; it was a 60 day assignment which lasted over 9 months, it was a wonderful opportunity, but because it was a 3 hour drive, this job did not allow me to be an everyday father to my son with special needs. I also couldn't support his mom who needs help taking him to school, help with dinner and things like that.
My prayer is First of all, that the Lord's Will be done by allowing me to be an everyday father and support to his mother.
When I am not working, I get depressed, anxious and sad, I don't want my son to see me this way. As a health care administrator, I love what I do; I serve people by doing so, I am serving our Heavenly Father.
Please pray for me that the Holy Spirit will overwhelm the depression and anxiety that I am experiencing. I know that we are wonderfully made and that God loves each of us unconditionally. I take my responsibility as a provider seriously and when I am not working, I feel useless.
