Our 23-year-old daughter believes she has gender dysphoria and that God is leading her to transition, or at least make herself not look/feel female. She has been taking testosterone for nine months and plans to have top surgery. She lives in another state but came to stay with us for two months while she takes a class for a certificate. This was her idea. She's a believer and knows we don't agree with her. Our conversations about this are heavy but covered in love. She'll listen to us and we'll listen to her. Please join us in praying for the darkness to be exposed, that she'll recognize there are deeper mental issues she needs to deal with, that the Lord desires to use her situation/feelings for His glory, that we'll be submissive to the Lord's leading in what, how, and when we speak, and that this doesn't weigh so heavily on our minds that we can't function...knowing the Lord will bring her along on this journey in His time. Your prayers are coveted.
