My husband and I have been married for over 40 years... The first 25 years of that were filled with alot of emotional abuse.. I feared him alot and would always do whatever I could to keep peace within my home... I am a Child of the Almighty God and my personal relationship with HIM is what got me through all those years... About 15 years ago He got saved and has been going to church with me ever since... I have seen God move in his life so very much... WE are both involved in our church, but I still go through times of emotional abuse.. Alot of terrible yelling and swearing.. I surrender my husband to God every day and I know that Jesus is my only source of REAL PEACE... He refuses to get help and at this stage in my life, I will noy break up my family and hurt grandchildren..Thanks goodness he doesn't do it to anyone else.... I PRAISE GOD for the good things that my husband does and concentrate on that, but the hurt is deep and happens quite often.. Please pray for me and my husband that God will bring this to light and He will walk the walk...and be kind and loving to me as we live our lives together...
