Please pray for the relationship I’m in. We have started counseling and it really seems to be opening our eyes and helping us work through problems. There are till times though, usually when he’s drinking a lot, that the fighting gets so intense and so many mean things are said. I try to use what the counselor is teaching us and a safe word when appropriate but it almost seems like it makes things worse. It’s a pattern of being upset at me for something then being drunk or close to it then breaking up with me and saying more hurtful things. I want so bad for thisnto work because whennits good it’s amazing but when it’s hard it’s the worst thing I’ve ever been through. Please pray we can get past this and continue to see the counselor and let go of anger and fear and frustration and dislike.
