The crew I am about to manage is problematic, troublesome, and not one behaves as if they believe in Jesus. My former manager has updated me on everything that has gone on for the past year. Aside from two or three employees, no one appears to care about their job, making for horrible morale, low performance, outbursts, negativity, and poor attendance. The Lord willing, I hope to bring positivity and genuine change in their work attitudes, performance, and attendance and help them be the team that everyone wants to be. It will be one of the biggest challenges I have ever faced, as I learned they had fought their former manager tooth and nail on the changes she has already implemented.
I know there is nothing too big for our Lord. I am seeking prayer that He will use me to make a difference in these people’s lives and hope to add to God’s army by reflecting the light of Jesus in my life and leading in the manner Jesus would approve of and as He expects me to. Please pray for me to have strength, protection, the right words, and actions to be the leader that He wants me to be.
