My grandson is 13 and he says he’s giving up. He says he has no joy, doesn’t care about anyone, even his pets, because nothing in his life ever changes. He has grown up in a very angry, often abusive home. His parents are divorced, his dad has full custody. His mom is angry and is an alcoholic. My grandson sent his dad a text telling him how he is feeling. His dad has not been able to receive/ believe how much his boy is hurting. My grandson is sad, angry and does not understand why God has not intervened. Pray he grows in hope, perseverance, faith, and trust in God and his future.
