Oh, Lord, all those years of being belittled because I was Chinese and not being born in an English speaking world, with parents who can speak fluent English, all those years of being confused with what a "Jenny" is, all the years of being referred to as the "Jenny" in the movie "Forrest Gump", has lead to damages in my psyche, obesity, and attempts to end my own life. Just this week, I vowed to get restitution from all the cruelty I experienced in my life. At age 57, I am not married and have no children. Will God make up for the years that the locust has eaten away? I'd like to see.
