This is my first online prayer request. Thank you, in advance, for reading and praying for my family! 20+ years ago, my husband and I thought we would save three amazing children from the cycle of abuse, neglect and foster care. We adopted Michael (at 2 1/2), Heather (at 20 months), then Abigail (at 3). They are 1/2-siblings. Unfortunately, genetics and contact with their biological family led Michael and Abigail into a cycle of drugs, alcohol and mental instability. Please pray for Michael and Abigail. They need to be freed from satan's hands, to ask God for forgiveness, to ask others for forgiveness, and to forgive themselves. They are still very young (23 and 20), and have so much to offer this world. I'm not ready to see them lose the battle. And please pray for Heather (almost 20). She's worried that genetics will get to her too. She's amazing - in college, loves to cook and bake, and is looking forward to a bright future. And please pray for my husband, Carey. I pray that he will find the Lord in his sole again; that he will remember how powerful and mighty God is. God is AWESOME! God bless you all!!
