I saw a man pacing beside his car about an hour ago. I drove back and pulled along side him. I asked if he was okay...if there was anything he needed. He looked so hesitant to talk to me. He was despondent...so sad. Not crying...just broken. My heart just ached, watching him. His response to what he needed? "Work." I told him that I couldn't help with that, but I would be praying for him. He said 'my name is ". I reached in my wallet and asked him if he'd take the $20 I had...he was hesitant...but I asked him to take it and get a bite to eat or use it for gas in his car. You could see him trying to decide if he'd take it. He did walk over and take it and asked my name and thanked me and said 'God bless you, Karen'. I assured him that he'd be in my prayers. If you've read this far, please say a prayer for him. I'm praying that God will move the mountain he's facing or lead him over it....and assure him of His presence as he is being lead. Please pray that he finds GOOD WORK...that God will make a way! He needs to feel God in this moment....
