1. Please pray for Blyndon (my cousin) who is only 53 and has severe diabetes. He is on dialysis 8 hours per day, is unemployed, and has a wife and two children. Recently, he had his second leg amputated and is staying with his mom, my Aunt Eleanor (age 80) while his wife works and cares for the children. He is in horrific pain and there is much concern about infection.
2. Also pray for Bonnie (my mother) who is a 67 year old widow working 40-50 hours per week as a certified nursing assistant. A couple of days ago she experienced a back injury causing much pain and concern, as her job is her livelihood, ministry, and to some degree a social avenue.
3. Finally, I would appreciate your prayers regarding locating a practicum and internship in my area. I am a nontraditional graduate student (almost 48 years old)
in my last year at Colorado Christian University. I believe the Lord is calling and leading me into clinical mental health counseling. As it currently stands, I live in a rather remote rural area in southwestern Minnesota where practicums and internships are difficult to come by. I was unable to secure one last year, which has extended the completion of my degree program by one year thus far. The deadline is July 1st. Please pray for the RIGHT practicum/internship, an invested supervisor(s), and a good fit.
