I live in Bay County Panama City, Fl... 6 months ago Hurricane. Michael. Came through.. We are in desperate need of prayer... A lot of homes are still damaged waiting for workers (4 to 6 weeks) wait if no longer... Most professional are swamped with work and are doing the best they can to serve the people... There are is sit with insurance companies as well... Most to not cover the cost of repairs and people are having to wait for contractors and insurance to get on same page... 192 families had to leave hotels this past Tuesday because the fema temporary housing money is out., These people have no place to go and they are living in cars or tents.. This week Bay County schools announced that they have lost 12 million this year and will need 24.4 million before they can start school after the summer break... They have Troy unsuccessfully to get help from federal and state funds and have been denied... Because of this they are going to have to layoff around 600 employees... Our state leaders are beside themselves... They do not know what to do... Bay County lost 800 employees from one of our hospitals... Tyndall air force base which our economy depends on will take 3 to 5 years to rebuild... I do believe that we will survive and come back stronger than before... We do lose over 4,000 students from our schools because of damages to the schools and parents losing their jobs... Besides pray I would like to dedicate the song "God only knows" to our whole area... That song has meant a lot to me and I believe it will also give hope to others...Also a lot of our churches were damaged or destroyed.. My church is meeting in our fellowship hall... A shout out to all those Christian organizations and others who have came to our aid... God bless them all.
