My son is a great 16 year old. He has struggled to find his group of friends even though he is a social person. I think a lot of this has to do with my husband losing a large business many years ago and the way people view that and have talked about it. My husband has no real friends and our couple friends don’t really have anything to do with us as a couple even though I am still friends with the wives.
So many of my son’s friends all have parents that hang out and we aren’t part of that group which is fine with me except of how it affects my son. And we can’t afford to keep up with anyone and don’t try.
My son had a really good group but had a small falling out with one kid and is just a bit excluded where he used to be included by others. I know it is hard on him and he feels lonely and left out. Pray for healing and inclusion because the last year had been great with this group so the last few weeks have been hard to watch.
