Asking for prayer for my marriage. I love my husband very much, the only problem is we have nothing in common. This often leads to nit-picky fights because we have nothing that we agree upon or like about one another. I've have been in counseling for about year, my counselor asked me "How long are you going to keep putting yourself through this?" I told her indefinitely, that is what marriage is. She argued that I am the one trying to make things work, he has yet to honor any of my requests to improve us. I am aware of this. He isn't even aware that he is shut me out. No one else in my life is aware of my innermost conflict.. I come here to ask for prayer. I don't have a support system I am comfortable sharing this with. Thank you in advance.
