Please pray with me for a new job. I am struggling financially and about to lose my home. My current job pays less than $20,000/yr and as a single woman, I am my sole source of income. I have a management degree, but have been out of the management field for a while because I had to move home to care for my sick mother (she lives in heaven now). It has been difficult to get an interview because I have been out of the field and do have previous experience (I'm 46 yrs old). It is better for them to hire a 20-something and pay them less. Also, I have endured major ridicule at my current job because I am not the caddy, pot-stirring gossiper that most of the people here are. I try to always be fair and professional and display Christ-like values. And this has put a target on my back. Even though these people claim to be Christians and spout scripture, there is nothing about their behavior that demonstrates this. I pray everyday for God's protection before I enter the building. My faith and hope have been brutally tested. I'm trying to hold on, but I'm tired. I'm totally depending on God.
