I've tried living a Godly life, but now I'm past the point of giving up. Every week that I can, I attend church services and Bible study There is nobody there to call my own. Of course, finding the right woman is not the first reason for joining a church. It is a reason to avoid the local bars. This year I'll be 54. I've shared with so many people how I'm single, never married, no children, and I've done this so many times. Professional counseling has become so routine that I finally stopped long ago. It's become virtually useless. People repeatedly tell me, "Oh! You're still young." Seriously? How do people really expect that to be encouragement? I've had it.
