I have no friends (social phobic), no wife, my life has a hellacious one of stagnation, loneliness, failure, and broken dreams for decades. I have been suffering financially paycheck to paycheck min wage jobs since high-school never making enough to save. Now, I'm 58, unemployed again, and my health/stamina is waning. I'm sooo dead dog tired all the time and have to take multiple naps and drink a ton of energy drinks. While looking for another min wage job I'm thinking to myself "How am I going to get through a 9/10 hour day at work when I'm so sickly?". I feel like I'm 99 when I'm only 58. I have barely any savings. I live in dangerous apartment complex where murder and hijackings occur. And they just raised the rent by 25 percent. Go figure. How am I going to afford it? At any rate, I just want to win the lottery, have enough to buy a home (American Dream), retire. I don't have the energy or the savings and I'm running out of steam. The well meaning but misinformed person who moderated (changed) my prayer on the prayer request said something like "God, help Michael to accept and be grateful for what he has". I'll bet that moderator probably has a wife, a house, money in the bank, good health, etc. I don't know why people who haven't walked in one's shoes or lived our life think they know better than us on what we need or want. Please don't read between the lines and think you are clever or wiser by changing the essence of my prayer. Just because I pray for money doesn't mean my prayer is wrong. I'm not shallow nor do I love money for the sake of money. Money to me means relief, freedom, stability, safety, open doors, ability to help others. I say the following with love: Will you please pray for what I ask? I want to win the lottery and get my health back. Right now I feel I'm one step above a virtual coma all the time. It's not a sin to pray for happiness or abundance or health. Jesus healed the sick, mind you. And Jesus said "I come that you have life and have it abundantly" so please don't argue with my prayer or change it. If you don't want to pray my prayer as it is then don't, but if you do, please pray "God, heal Mike and help him have a big miraculous financial winfall". Thank you, for your prayers. I'm grateful. Truly. Matthew 18:20-- " I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven".
