A year ago I got covid and how bad things have gotten has been unexpected and a bit of a shock. I was a very healthy person. Had just run my first 5k. I had thyroid disease that was treated years ago and everything was stable and well. But covid interfered with my meds and it went unnoticed for months as I struggled with covid. Today I am STILL fighting to get my health back. Right now, my iron levels have bottomed out and I am tired, weak, cold and dizzy most of the time. I am handicapped by this and can’t do the things I want to. It has been almost a year and a half of me being half (or less) of the person I was to my family and friends. I am weary in mind and body of it all.
