Thank you for being a safe, non judgmental place for us all to have others pray with us and for us in this way.
Having been saved at the age of 8 and my dad as my pastor for 20 years, I have an amazing form foundation and the sweetest relationship with my heavenly Daddy that my earthly daddy was an example of.
My children were saved early on as well and in their teen years were so on fire God. During their home life growing up, it was an abusive environment. Their dad was addicted to pornography and several times I had to ask family for food, we almost lost our house ECT. My children did not know about this until I checked my son's computer and porn was all over the screen (this is when you had to pay for porn and it would pop up on your screen if you didn't have protection on it.) His dad said he would put protection on it and he didn't.
On purpose, to get my son addicted.
During this time, I was called to the mission field and returned with a passion and equipping to start motivational speaking (all the while feeling like a hypocrite because my marriage and family was falling apart). God still used it all to reach others.
After much counseling, the kids and I left. It was ugly!
Fast forward, my daughter was married for one year and divorced because of her "best friend". They have been living a gay lifestyle for 10 years. My son, has no need for God and married to a non believer with two precious boys.
I'm asking others to come and stand in the gap beside me and lift them up, asking God to restore their faith. We all have a great relationship because I will not allow the devil to draw a wedge between us again. They know they are loved, they know mom doesn't approve, they know God loves them.
God is using all of this (and so much more) for my test-imony to reach others. To encourage, equip and engage others to draw closer to God in the midst of such an evil, selfish, world. As I'm preparing to start speaking again, the devil is throwing darts. They aren't getting through because I have the full armor of God on!
