My heart is breaking! I pledged my financial support to reach my young son and others like him that battle depression and flirt with thoughts of suicide. I've heard many stories of parents who have lost a son or daughter due to suicide. Lord Jesus, make us effective vessels to proclaim your glory and goodness to our children. This world is bleak, and evil. Protect our children. Give us your strength, wisdom, and guidance to ask those hard questions. God, my heart is breaking for the families that grieve the loss of their children. I am blessed (and feel selfish) because my son is still here. There is still a chance he can be saved. Give us obedient hearts and the courage to live out our faith as a testament of your forgiveness, grace, mercy, your acceptance. You love us and you never leave us where you find us. Thank you for accepting me just as I am- broken hearted.
