My first husband and I divorced almost 9 years ago. We had a Christian home in the sense that we attended church, sometimes together. My oldest son said he was happy for the divorce and couldn't wait to be 18, at which time he could eliminate me from his life. His younger brother kept a relationship with me a bit longer. My second husband and I have set Biblical boundaries to protect our home and younger children. We set boundaries with him, so he has now estranged himself from us. My prayer is that they will be influenced by people surrounding them in their every day lives to seek a relationship with God.
