Lord thank you for the promise of Psalm 116: 1-2. Thank you that your word promises that you hear my voice and my supplications. That your ear is inclined to me. God help me to continue to call on you. Help me to believe that you will hear and answer me. That I would be encouraged and see my friend return to you. Calm his stress, anxiety, and depression. Give him supernatural rest. The he would complete his doctorate with a healthy state of mind.
