My husband and I and our 4 children have really been through some incredibly tough times this past 6 months. My son was born almost 5 years ago missing the left side of his heart. Since then he has had 13 surgeries and we have almost lost him twice. This year I was diagnosed with PTSD and severe depression and anxiety. Some days it is unbearable for me, but I continue to lean on the Lord. We drive two hours out of town multiple times a year, sometimes a month, for our son's medical appointments and surgeries. Both of our cars have gone out since January and continue to burden our family financially. He also has a surgery again Friday for some complications with eating and possibly from his lrior strokes. He struggles to gain weight. We are praying for a good outcome. My husband and I both have been experiencing heart problems and I have several tests coming up. I had previous heart failure when I felivered my son five years ago, so Im praying for the Lord to help us with our stress load. Lastly, my husband is possibly losing his job. Our son lost his medical insurance recently and my husband had to start looking for a job that we could afford health insurance. We are still praying for God to open the door for the perfect opportunity for him and our family. We continue to struggle to make ends meet as the past 6 months have been one thing after another for us. We continue to trust God in his faithfulness and timing as He has faithfully carried us this past five years with our son and our needs. We definitely appreciate your prayers.
