I will try to keep this short. I am a christian but, when I was younger I (of course) did my own thing. I had my first child at the age of 18 and the relationship with her mom was a rocky one. Later she and I had another child. Fast forward, I wanted to make this a family that worked, neither one of us knew how. We separated she left to Chicago with our children. She said she would be back after her grandmother’s funeral. She never came back, I knew Chicago would not work for me trying to better myself. I grew up there and I nearly lost my life there.
My children are young adults now. My daughter is 20 and my son is 18. I have been able to mend the relationship with my daughter but, my son still seems to not want to talk to me. A close friend from high school set up an opportunity for a father son camping trip for us, he and his sons will be joining. It’s set for August 2nd-4th. All I need is to get my plane ticket there and back. Well, I don’t currently have the money to do so. I need prayer that God will provide so that I can have a chance to mend the relationship between my son and I. I need to get there so please pray for me. I believe God will provide, I guess this is just me fighting the unbelief. I believe in the power of prayer so, by faith, I will have the money to go. Thank you for reading my email.
