Our 8 yr old nephew Lucas was born late in life, a surprise, only child and the apple mother of his mother's eye was hit by a car this morning when a bunch of kids were goofing around at the bus stop. One of the other kids got clipped pretty hard and rolled across the front of the car and landed on the sidewalk. He has some really low kidney function, broken right arm, both legs broke and a pretty massive concussion. My nephew was hit full on, he is not expected to live without a full blown miracle. They said this would have killed an adult instantly but kids bones are still soft and they are young enough where his body can reroute and redeveloped easier. He is still unconscious as of an hour ago. They are giving him meds to bring down the swelling in his brain. This is incredibly hard because the same sister and brother buried their only daughter (age 3) in 04' due to Encephalitis. Please pray for a miracle.
