My aunt Ming is twice widowed and is now 77 years old, living with her single brother, also in his 70s, in a small town in Georgia. My extended family were hard working people who feel they have to struggle with very little resources, and I hope they will look and see God all around rather than speak lowly of themselves. Ming's son, Jamie, lives without being able to to speak directly with Ming and myself because of language problems. Old age should be golden, not bitter. May Ming find the light that shines in the dark, not be a bitter immigrant that she is.
