I consider myself a believer and a Christian at some point in my life. Today I still feel the pull of the Lord but struggle to get back to where I want to be. I am active duty military and am an active and struggling alcoholic. I’ve been to meetings but still can’t seem to find the strength to quit, I hate myself and what I’ve become from this disease. I have revealed my struggle to my entire family (Wife and parents) only to secretly relapse. I’m terrified to admit my relapse (after only 48hrs sober but to my family they believe I’ve made it to 3 weeks). Today I changed my radio station from my typical Country music while driving around pretending to be at an AA meeting to find Family Life radio as the very next station. It gave me goosebumps and made the Lord real to me and brought me to tears. I am lost and need the Lords direction. Please pray for me.
