We just found out that my father has lung cancer, it has spread to some lymph nodes & hip bone. (He is 84.) Dr didn’t recommend radiation or chemo & guessed he’d have about 3 months to live. It was so unexpected, we are struggling to process & accept this. I feel disoriented, physically sick & cry a lot. I'm not sure how or what to pray. I don’t feel strong in the Lord. My family are all Christians, so my dad is ready to go in that way, which I'm so thankful for! But I've never felt so lost & sad as I do now. It’s hard to go on living & focus on other things. I live in a different state, but will be going to spend time with him soon. Thank you.
