Please pray for direction in my marriage. I went through a very traumatic experience with some of my husband’s family members and it’s still causing a wedge in my marriage because my husband struggles to listen and understand my feelings, concerns and putting me first above his mom and family conflict. He has a coping mechanism with alcohol when those things are involved. We’ve been dealing with this for 5 years and cannot seem to move forward in a healthy way. They’re expectations are to forget about it and move on like nothing happened . How do I know when enough is enough? What am I fighting for if he’s not willing to put his marriage and family (we have 2 small kids) first?
