I am a licensed vet tech that has been in the profession for 12 years. It is a very physically and emotionally demanding profession. So I have been struggling to know what my purpose is in life right now.
Right now I am currently the only one in the home that is working and paying bills. This has been going on for a few years and we are doing just fine. God has answered my prayers to this in the past.
So on Monday as I was driving to work and listening to FLR I asked God what am I supposed to do. I get to work and animal control brings a beautiful young dog in that needs a home. We spay her and update her vaccines and find out that she is Heartworm positive. I new then that she is supposed to come home with me. I realize that animals are my purpose and I need to help this dog. My husband on the other hand dose not see it that way. I have been trying to get him to just let us bring her home to foster her. He thinks that we do not have the money right now for another animal. Which I know we can make it work, we always have. The hard part is he is not a believer and I am. Which is a struggle. So please help to pray for my husband to believe in God and let me care for this dog. If it's just to get her healthy then find her a home or to stay with us. Thank you.
