Since 12/20, when I had two covid-related strokes, affecting my basal ganglia and frontal lobe, I have suffered from emotional blunting. Emotional blunting is where everything is neutral, no good or bad. I intellectually can see the emotion, but I can't feel it, and it is driving me nuts. I am a joyless person. The Lord says I'll have joy, to ask him for anything.
I've prayed countless times for healing, for joy to return to me, to no avail. It has resulted in a deep depression for me that I cannot seem to shake. Today in spite of an hour in devotion, my depression is particularly bad.
Please pray for my healing, and joy to return. Thank you,
