I woke up one morning a month ago with severe pain in my neck and right shoulder. I went to physical therapy, to a chiropractor, and a massage therapist. I recently had an MRI that shows a bulging disc in my neck and a degenerative disc disease. I am told that the bulging disc can recover but the degenerative cannot. The pain, although better than the start, has not gone away. I just want to be pain free. I was off work for two weeks but had to go back. My father, who has dementia, lives with my husband and I. We also have my daughter, her boyfriend, and their new 2-month-old baby with us. I want to be there to support and love them, but I don’t feel like I have that to give right now. I am asking for prayers for pain relief so I can come home from work and hold my new grandbaby without pain and without tears.
