Hi, I have listened to this station for about four years and just love it It has given me new perspective on many things.
I am asking for help trusting that God will help us get through this next week. We have been renting this house for six years with the agreement that we would be able to purchase the house. We have fallen in love with this house and neighbors. We had to wait for someone to pass before we could buy the house. Well she passed in December (God rest her soul). Over the last two years one of the brothers has been refusing to fix things until it’s been broken for a good amount of time. He has been promising to finish putting the back steps back since May. When we text he says he will be down over the weekend and never shows up. This has left us unable to use the back door for a full year now. He has just been putting us off. We felt is would have been rude to approach them about buying the house afraid it was being pushy since it hasn’t been a so we have just been waiting patiently. Last Monday they have contacted us saying they want to sell and would call us later in the week with a price, they called the next day with a outrageous price. We cannot afford what they are asking, we also know it will not appraise at that price. Plus the fact we have followed every rule and jumped through every hoop they have given for the last six years. Plus the fact we have already paid 43,000 to them in the last six years. I am asking for prayersfor them to have a change of heart and treat us fair and to sell this house to us at a fair price that our bank will approve. Right know they are asking close to 25,000 more than what it will be appraised at. If they continue with this we will have to move out of the home our family has grown to love and build so many great memories in. We are just asking for them to have a change of heart and to be fair and work with us. We went so much to be able to stay in this house that we have lovingly made our home.
