Please pray for our 18yro son Damien. He has learning disabilities, anxiety and some form of a mental illness with an intellectual age of 13. Last month he did $10k of damage to our family home and my husband's car with a baseball bat. He is refusing any form of help from any counseling and definitely refuses to see a doctor. Every day in our home is questionable to what we will be faced with. He was taken to an involuntary facility to be evaluated after the incident last month once the cops found him but the facility released him recommending outpatient therapy. To me he seems severely bipolar with very aggressive tendency once in that state of anger and paranoia. He lacks understanding of everyday processes, and certainly doesn't grasp consequences for actions taken. He is 18 now, the world views him as an adult, we have no legal authority over him and every time we thought we were finally going to receive help we've been turned down. I beg any and all to pray for his mind, for peace and healing. He is full of fear, anger, but there is a very good guy in there. He has the sweetest of all hearts and is very saddened by all the injustice and sin in the world... But doesn't see his actions as part of those sins when he's in one of his rages and very aggressive dangerous behaviours. He has told my husband and I he cannot wait to be in Heaven with Jesus bc this world is too painful for him. Meanwhile we cannot get him the help he needs. Please pray for Damien and my family. Please pray for the health of his mind and soul and the healing to give him peace.
