Good Morning to all of you that trust in Christ,
I am overwhelmed with blessing and very thankful for the prayful response I have received here on the family life prayer wall. So here is a follow up on what has been prayed for and still remain very hopeful that God has led me where he wants me to be employed.
I had my 4th interview yesterday for a position in operations. I am grateful to say that it went exceptionally well based on the man or men I interviewed with for this opportunity. I then proceeded to a job preview for approximately 3 hours.
During the job preview, I observed somethings that in my humble opinion could resolve alot of issues they are encountering due to lack integrity of employee's.
Many of the employees/drivers are not being held accountable for their lack of fulfilling their paperwork. This is very important because it is part of being a commercial driver. Plus it affects office work flow, labor costs and even billing of the customers.
Another factor is these documents are legal and binding should any adversity come to the organization such accidents, work injuries or any other calamity that an employee/driver may encounter through an average workday.
And today's devotional confirmed my email address that I sent at 1am, one that may or may not sit well with leadership.
"Am I living my passion? Do I tolerate my daily tasks, or am I compelled to complete my checklist? Am I motivated by passion or by a paycheck? It is in this tension of wanting to engage in activities that align with my giftedness that I need to trust the Lord. Life is too short for me to grind out good results when I can enjoy the best outcome in my area of passion. Why settle for less than the Lord’s very best?"
So my request here is that we would continue by faith no matter what circumstances may come and address them with the integrity and passion that only God can instill in us as believers. 2 Timothy 1:6-7
