Thank you for being God. I praise you for your gift of Jesus to us for salvation.
My prayer is for my oldest adult daughter and for me. She is 25. She has fallen in love with a 46 year man that has 4 children from multiple previous relationships. I am 48 years old. Their relationship has continued for more than a year now. He is divorced and has part time visitation of his youngest 7yr child. His oldest child is 28. He claims to be a Christian but from what my daughter has told me their relationship is not a holy one or obedient to biblical teachings. She has left our church and now attends his church. She claims that she is growing spiritually with him. We have tried to council her on the difficulties that such a relationship will bring. It is so very difficult to feel compassion for a man that is almost my exact age dating my daughter. I am at a complete loss how to proceed with any relationship with my daughter and him. I want to honor God in all of this and help my wife through this as well. I truly feel the Holy spirit would not lead two people together in this way. As a father I want to protect my family, but I would offend my daughter to offend him. I pray for him that God will open his eyes and direct his path and will help him in his life. If you read this prayer please pray for Godly wisdom and patience for me as a struggling father, and for my daughter to have her eyes opened to Gods plan for her life. Or as the Holy spirit leads you. Thank you.
