Please pray for my nephew, Jack, who is 11. He lives in a divorced parent/shared custody situation. His stepfather has always been verbally and emotionally abusive, but now it has become physcial. CPS is investigating, but at this point his dad is being told that he has to continue to make Jack go to his mother's house on her weekend. This past weekend ended with Jack threatening to kill himself last night and the paramedics intervened. Jack accepted Jesus as his savior when he was 6. He needs prayer for his dad and stepmom to stand up and do whatever it takes to protect him from his stepdad. Please pray that Jack's dad, therapist and the authorities will keep him from having to go back. And pray that Jack feels the love and comfort and protection of the Lord. Pray also that somehow this will cause his mother and stepfather to fall on their knees before God and claim Him as their savior.
