I have two young boys that have been abused by their father. I finally sought out a restraining order, but he has taken me to court for custody. I have all sorts of evidence, but because the kids are so terrified, they have only told me and their therapist what he has done. DCS got involved, and I was accused of coaching the kids, DCS also accused the therapist of coaching the kids, because their father can charm anyone to believe him. The judge, who granted our second restraining order, is also now ignoring all evidence and starting to believe him over everything, even though he has presented no evidence, just words. It took me years to leave him, but I have been divorced from him for 6 years, and it wasn't until 2 years ago the kids finally started telling me what he had done to them. But, the law is not on our side. He had violated the restraining order and the police did nothing. He has been in contempt of court during this 8 month long custody battle, and the judge isn't holding him accountable. He has hurt not just me but our innocent children, and no one seems to want to protect them. We have our final hearing at the end of this month, and we need prayers that God opens the eyes of everyone involved and sees how this man is lying and hurting people, especially his kids. We are terrified that we will become just another news story, and I am fighting, with a lawyer, with everything in me to keep my children safe and away from this evil. I am asking for prayers, from anyone who is willing, that God keeps my children safe
